Sorry, light posting lately, been busy. Sold my house, bought a new one. Inspections, mortgages, real estate agents, decision making etc. I am buying the new house with my fiance and so we need to work through that process as well. Lots of change. Change, while everpresent, never seems to get easier. Why? I suppose that while a single shoe with a single bad spot would get you to develop a callous in that spot, reducing the pain, if that single bad was constantly moving around, it would be a problem. Change is never the same. Even the act of buying a house (this is my fourth time) is different enough each time to cause stress.

Which one do we like? Which one do your kids like? Which one do my kids like? My kids still live at home, but hers are out on their own. But we need to make sure that they all feel welcome.

Last weekend, my fiance and I went out to Portland, OR to surprise my dad for his 70th birthday. The surprise, instigated by his wife, was a success and it was a delightful weekend. The kids did not go with and it was nice for the four of us to spend lots of time together. We hope to do it often.

Will post pictures once I get Hello back working again.
