Pardon My English: Conservative News & Opinion: Good & Bad News for Freedom: "Mr. Nasab will be remembered—by myself and others like me, at least—as a visionary and a hero for his courageous efforts to take Islam into the twenty-first century. President Bush will be remembered in like manner—to the chagrin of leftocratic ideologues, and despite any of his failings—for being the first man in modern times to take on the unenviable task of confronting the Middle Ages barbarism of jihad, while preserving American liberty, in the face of a spiteful, hostile media and political opposition. I would show the same respect for a Democratic commander in chief performing similarly.

These are momentous and trying times in the world for freedom."
